The 8% Summit is an event to connect a community of speech pathologists and audiologists who are Black, Brown, Indigenous, People of Color for collaboration and contribution to each other and diversity in the communication science and disorder fields, in a fun engaging way.
Each ticket grants admission to the 8% Summit's presenters and Professional Development Hours, a gift bag of goodies, raffles and giveaways, food and refreshments, access to potential “friendleagues” (friends + colleagues), and a fun space to let your hair down.

Seeing other BIPOC professionals is food to my soul. They can attest to the great things about our profession as well as things that present as challenges and it is not frowned upon.
